Volunteer Call
Sign up to make a measurable, meaningful difference.  We need YOU, especially as an SAT or College Coach.

CPP is run entirely by volunteers - each year, dozens of volunteers donate thousands of hours to help the students with their applications and dreams for the future.  The 2019 program starts this summer!  This year, we especially need SAT and College Coaches, and those interested in a leadership opportunity!

How Do I Volunteer?

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - we will train you and give you all of the support you need!  It is not required that you are a JHU/APL staff member.  When you complete the Volunteer Application (see below) please indicate interest in multiple roles if possible so that we can best fulfill everyone's preferences. Also, positions are not exclusive, you are welcome to sign up for more than one if you'd like to!  Please note that you are not expected to attend every class - each role is different based on the layout of the curriculum; some positions require as little as 2 hours total, and some can even be done at home.  But we would love to recruit a few people who are especially committed and looking for a leadership opportunity.  :)  Time commitments are explained as part of the description for each role below.  Early Career STEM professionals and CPP alumni who are college graduates are especially encouraged, but all are welcome.

CPP 2019 Volunteer Application is now closed. Email us at info@trailblaze.org to be put on our distribution list for next summer!
The 2019 program will run from June 1st through August 17th. Volunteer applications are due by May 31st but are accepted on a rolling basis, so apply early! We will notify you of your acceptance as a volunteer no later than June 3rd.
